About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Staff Software Development Engineer specializing in API Security and Web Application Firewalls (WAF). In this role, you will be responsible for handling process packets at ingress and egress points at high speed, ensuring no noticeable latency for clients. You will collaborate with the operations team to deploy, monitor, patch, and scale systems as needed, while identifying and resolving performance hotspots as the user base grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle process packets efficiently at high speed to maintain low latency.
- Collaborate with operations teams for deployment and system monitoring.
- Identify performance hotspots and implement solutions for smooth user experience.
- Design and develop high-volume, distributed systems to meet enterprise needs.
- Ensure system scalability and reliability as user demands increase.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in C programming in a distributed and enterprise-scale environment.
- Strong design and development skills for high-volume systems.
- Experience with API security and web application firewalls (WAF).
- Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
