About this role
The team is seeking a dynamic Senior Staff Engineer, Software who is passionate about working closely with the hardware/software interface to enable the management of a fleet of devices in tomorrow's data center environments. This role requires a deep understanding of board management controllers and low-level drivers, along with the ability to mentor a team of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customers, product line management, manufacturing engineering, and hardware teams.
- Design and implement software solutions that interact with hardware components.
- Mentor and guide a team of senior engineers in best practices and technical challenges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and hardware integration issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data center technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with board management controllers and low-level drivers.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
- Experience in mentoring and leading engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in software engineering, with a focus on hardware/software integration.
