About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer specializing in Kubernetes Platform & Networking. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance for our services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement networking solutions that support our cloud-native applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and associated networking components.
- Optimize the performance and scalability of the Kubernetes platform.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate networking solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Kubernetes and networking.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
- Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software engineering or systems engineering, with a focus on Kubernetes and networking solutions.
