The team is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer - Senior Test Engineer specializing in GIS applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on quality assurance and testing of GIS applications and data workflows, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of geospatial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for GIS applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure application quality.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on application performance and issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on GIS applications.
- Strong knowledge of GIS technologies and tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- 5-8 years in software testing, particularly in GIS applications.
