Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure high-quality releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and UX designers to understand product features and requirements.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to resolution.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior test engineers and contribute to their professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
- Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
