The team is seeking a Senior Software Frontend Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality user interfaces for consumer-facing products. You will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver a seamless experience for users accessing news content across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of professional experience in frontend development, preferably in a media or content-driven environment.
