Senior Software Engineer – Typescript

The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong proficiency in TypeScript to play a key role in driving the growth of their innovative software solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of software development and architecture, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy complex software solutions.
• Lead technical design discussions and guide implementation approaches.
• Deliver complex features and solutions across multiple contributors.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and identify technical risks.
• Drive modernization and technical debt reduction within assigned systems.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.
• Own the design, delivery, and ongoing technical health of assigned systems and services.
• Investigate and conduct root-cause analysis of complex production issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Platform teams to improve reliability, monitoring, and observability.
• Mentor Software Engineers and support their technical development.
• Champion high standards for code quality, testing, security, and maintainability.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and quality.
• Communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs clearly to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong fluency in TypeScript with significant experience in building production web applications and services.
• Experience with modern frontend and backend application development, including React and HTML/CSS.
• Strong experience in designing and supporting scalable production systems.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL.
• Experience with Docker and understanding of networking concepts relevant to web applications.
• Strong system design, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Experience in leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and application security.
• Experience with Kubernetes and modern UI/design systems.
• Exposure to PHP/AngularJS is beneficial, along with Java or C# experience.
