About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Rust to join their team focused on developing desktop native applications. This role is pivotal in enhancing their open-source password management solution, aimed at improving internet security for individuals and organizations alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Rust.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs to optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance product offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Rust programming language with a strong understanding of its ecosystem.
- Experience in developing desktop applications, preferably in a cross-platform environment.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on Rust.
