About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Risk Platform team. This role requires a full stack developer with strong expertise in either backend or frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that enhance the risk management capabilities of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of the Risk Platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and best practices in software development.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Manage and work with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Utilize containerization tools like Docker for application deployment.
- Work with cloud services, preferably on GCP or AWS, to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in frontend development using React.
- Proficient in backend programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, Golang, or Elixir.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming (FP).
- Experience with production systems and a strong focus on clean coding practices.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and containerization technologies.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development, with a focus on full stack solutions.
