About this role
The team is seeking a versatile and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Node.js. In this role, you will be responsible for taking complex problems from idea to production, designing robust systems, and continuously learning new technologies as needed. You will work end-to-end across the technology stack, collaborating closely with the Product team and taking ownership of significant initiatives from concept to launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions using Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript frameworks.
- Proficiency in full-stack development, including front-end technologies such as React or Angular.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
