About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing and developing scalable applications in a Linux/UNIX environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Core Java and J2EE technologies.
- Implement OOPS concepts effectively in software solutions.
- Develop RESTful web services and integrate them with front-end components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance improvements.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/MyBatis.
- Experience in REST web service development.
- Familiarity with Java 11 or higher is a plus.
- Understanding of high-performance and scalable systems.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell Script, PHP, or Python is desirable.
- Experience with GenAI and CI/CD practices is a plus.
