About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java to join their dynamic software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and post-deployment support of enterprise applications. You will work independently or with minimal input from the Development Manager, contributing to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure reliability.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Provide post-deployment support and resolve any issues that arise in production.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with related frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of professional experience in software development, particularly in Java.
