About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for building internally-facing platforms and services that enhance developer productivity, efficiency, and engineering excellence. As a self-starter, you will develop high-quality code and collaborate with various teams, including product management and QA, to deliver robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with related frameworks.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
