About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing high-performance applications within a Linux/UNIX environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
- Implement RESTful web services and ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Java development, specifically in a Linux/UNIX environment.
- Excellent knowledge of OOP concepts and design patterns.
- Proficiency in Core Java and J2EE frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/MyBatis.
- Experience with REST web service development.
- Familiarity with Java 11 or higher is a plus.
- Exposure to high-performance and scalable systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell Script, PHP, or Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with GenAI and CI/CD practices is desirable.
