About this role
As a Senior Software Engineer (GO) - DNS & Network Systems, you will be responsible for the architecture and delivery of the team DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) resolver. This role involves creating a production-grade, identity-aware DNS service that enforces filtering policies at both the browser and OS level for millions of students using managed Chromebooks. You will play a critical role in enhancing network security and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build a high-performance DoH resolver in Go.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement filtering policies.
- Ensure the reliability and scalability of the DNS service.
- Analyze and optimize system performance and security.
- Develop and maintain documentation for architecture and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Go programming language.
- Strong understanding of DNS protocols and network security principles.
- Experience with identity management and authentication systems.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on network systems.
