About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Detection Team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining the core engine behind their advanced detection system. You will be working on real-time services that handle hundreds of millions of sessions daily, utilizing a combination of signals, device and behavioral data, IP reputation, and AI classification to make rapid risk decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance detection capabilities and improve system performance.
- Analyze and process large datasets to derive actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain robust testing frameworks to ensure system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with real-time data processing and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and AI classification techniques.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on detection or security systems.
