About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Automation & Tooling. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks, tools, and scripts aimed at enhancing engineering efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation frameworks that are scalable and maintainable.
- Write production-grade code and contribute actively to the test automation ecosystem.
- Provide architectural input for automation solutions to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Set coding standards for QA automation and ensure adherence across the team.
- Act as a go-to technical leader, mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into the development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on automation and tooling.
