The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is proficient in various technologies and methodologies to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for optimizing distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, document, and implement software solutions to meet business requirements.
- Optimize performance of distributed systems and data pipelines.
- Conduct SQL query tuning and work with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
- Utilize big data tools such as Spark, Kubernetes, and Airflow to manage large datasets.
- Write and maintain clean, efficient code in Java, Python, TypeScript, and Groovy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient with the UNIX operating system and Shell scripting (BASH).
- Experience in performance optimization for distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data and develop highly performant data pipelines.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
