About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of critical applications and services. You will work closely with development and operations teams to implement best practices in system design and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and reliable systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve the reliability and efficiency of applications.
- Automate processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
