The team is seeking a Senior Security Engineer specializing in Application Security to join their innovative team. This role is critical in ensuring the security of their cloud-native automotive platform and will involve working closely with development and operations teams to implement security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security measures for applications and services.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing expertise in threat analysis and mitigation.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in application security, including secure coding practices and threat modeling.
- Proficiency in security testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles, especially in AWS or Azure environments.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, or ISO 27001.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CSSLP are a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on application security.
