The team is seeking a Senior Security Engineer with a strong background in product security. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of experience and a passion for fostering an open culture within a diverse team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our products while collaborating closely with developers in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Educate stakeholders on information security concepts and best practices.
- Assess and mitigate security risks associated with products and services.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends to proactively address potential risks.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Participate in incident response and investigation efforts as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of information security principles and practices.
- Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption).
- Ability to empathize with developers and communicate security concepts effectively.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Proven experience in threat modeling and risk assessment.
