About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to take ownership of quality engineering for their platform end-to-end. This role emphasizes proactive quality assurance rather than merely executing pre-defined test plans. You will be responsible for building the test infrastructure, developing a quality strategy, and fostering a culture where quality is prioritized in all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build automated test frameworks from the ground up.
- Integrate quality gates into the release process.
- Define criteria for what constitutes a 'release-ready' product for a multi-tenant, AI-powered security platform.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of quality excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of testing into these processes.
- Knowledge of AI and security platforms is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering roles.
