About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for mobile applications and APIs, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications and Karate/Rest Assured for APIs.
- Write and debug automated test scripts for new features while maintaining existing ones.
- Track and report automation coverage, presenting weekly status updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with manual testing teams to review and automate test cases.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Android/iOS hybrid apps and APIs.
- Utilize Page Object Model design patterns to enhance test automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Appium, Karate, and Rest Assured.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in software testing and automation.
