About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will collaborate within an agile framework with engineering, product management, and design teams to identify test strategies, troubleshoot quality issues, and provide detailed defect analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify and document defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Create and maintain documentation related to testing processes and procedures.
- Optimize departmental processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare analytical reports on testing outcomes and quality metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
- Familiarity with agile development practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in creating detailed documentation and reports.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.
