About this role
We are seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer with experience in the manufacturing domain to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, automation tools, and proficiency in scripting languages like Java, Ruby, VB Scripting, along with SQL. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing software products through rigorous testing analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Perform regression, performance, and load testing to ensure software stability.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams.
- Document defects and track them through resolution.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software quality assurance within the manufacturing domain.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (Java, Ruby, VB Scripting, SQL).
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and software testing.
