About this role
The team is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of their products by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies. You will work collaboratively within small, cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and designers to bring features to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Execute manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand features and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and share best practices in testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and testing.
