About this role
Our client is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to develop and implement automated testing solutions for their software applications. This is a remote contract position that allows you to work from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and requirements.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects.
- Enhance existing testing processes and tools to improve efficiency.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in QA automation with tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation engineering.
