About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in IT and experience within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering IT projects effectively. This role requires expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, QA, and architecture teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, with at least 3 years in the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
