About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer specializing in Linux and Infrastructure to contribute to their technology vision and guide transformation across various verticals. This role requires a deep understanding of Linux environments, Kubernetes, and AWS, as well as the ability to build and maintain robust infrastructure applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer and optimize the Linux compute platform using Kubernetes and AWS.
- Develop infrastructure applications and participate in code writing and reviews.
- Solve complex problems through a combination of coding and the implementation of open-source tools.
- Troubleshoot and debug intricate systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage design, coding, automation, and implementation skills to meet business and technology needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Linux operating systems and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and AWS services.
- Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Go, or similar.
- Experience with open-source tools and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in software engineering and infrastructure development.
