About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Platform & Site Reliability Engineer to take full architectural and operational ownership of the platform layer across a growing SaaS portfolio. This role is fully remote and offered on a contract basis.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing AWS infrastructure standards including VPCs, account structures, networking, and compute design.
- Managing the CI/CD platform to ensure efficient and reliable deployment processes.
- Overseeing the observability and reliability stack to maintain system performance and uptime.
- Developing and maintaining event streaming infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance platform capabilities and performance.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong experience with AWS services and architecture.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience in event streaming technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Experience required: 5-8 years in platform engineering or site reliability engineering roles.
