The team is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer specializing in CDN and Akamai technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable content delivery solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and security of the team platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CDN solutions to enhance content delivery speed and reliability.
- Manage and optimize Akamai configurations for various applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CDN solutions into existing platforms.
- Monitor performance metrics and troubleshoot issues related to content delivery.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to CDN and web performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with CDN technologies, specifically Akamai.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in platform engineering or related fields, with a focus on CDN technologies.
