About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with a strong background in DevOps practices and cloud platform engineering. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in cloud-native and managed services, preferably in Azure, AWS, or GCP. This role involves leading cloud automation initiatives and requires a hands-on approach to implementing Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud automation initiatives utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-native applications and services across various platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using languages such as Bash, Python, Typescript, and Groovy.
- Manage containerization and orchestration technologies, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform reliability and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in DevOps and cloud platform engineering.
- Strong experience with cloud-native and managed services in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Demonstrated expertise in scripting and programming languages, including Bash, Python, Typescript, and Groovy.
- Extensive experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
