About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Senior PL/SQL Developer with extensive experience in developing and optimizing database solutions for Operational Data Stores (ODS) and banking environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, data warehousing, ODS concepts, and database performance tuning. Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL code, including procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Design and implement data models and database architecture tailored for ODS and banking applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization to enhance application efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Ensure data integrity and security within database systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Oracle Database and PL/SQL programming.
- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ODS architecture.
- Proven experience in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with banking domain requirements and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience: 7-10 years in PL/SQL development and database solutions.
