About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with a focus on Node.js, and will be responsible for designing and implementing robust applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and its frameworks such as Fastify, Express.js, or Moleculer.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture to support various applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, specifically with Node.js.
- Proficient in Node.js frameworks such as Fastify, Express.js, or Moleculer.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of database management systems and experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
