About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their Network Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures that support their automotive technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and security issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Develop and maintain network documentation and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls).
- Proficiency in network management tools and software.
- Experience with routing and switching technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
- Knowledge of cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in network engineering or a similar role.
