About this role
The team is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer to take ownership of their global data centre network infrastructure. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of an enterprise networking environment across six global data centres supporting a 24/7/365 production platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the global data centre network infrastructure.
- Ensure the stability, security, and performance of the networking environment.
- Provide expert troubleshooting across switching, routing, and other networking components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the Data Centre Modernization Program.
- Implement best practices for network design, configuration, and maintenance.
- Monitor network performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in network engineering with a focus on data centre environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in network engineering or a similar role.
