About this role
The team is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join their team on a remote basis within India. This role is focused on developing solutions for the Retirement Plan Solutions and Financial Services industry. The position is a 12-month contract with a strong possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 6.
- Create and manage ASP.NET MVC applications and ASP.NET Web API services.
- Implement RESTful and SOAP-based services for legacy integrations.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in financial and banking applications.
- Proficiency in backend technologies: C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP-based services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in .NET development, particularly in financial services.
