About this role
The team is seeking a Senior .NET Developer with expertise in DuckCreek to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly within the insurance sector, and will be responsible for designing, coding, and reviewing applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using .NET and DuckCreek technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Implement unit and end-to-end testing methodologies to ensure software quality.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for project management and version control with GitHub.
- Work with various database technologies including SQL, MS SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Stay updated with the latest web technologies and frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in .NET, DuckCreek, and MVC frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools like SSRS.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Understanding of testing best practices and methodologies.
- Nice to have: experience with Angular and JSON.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in the insurance domain.
