Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain MySQL replication setups to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues related to replication and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and improve application performance.
- Perform regular backups and recovery procedures to safeguard data.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest MySQL features and best practices to enhance database management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with MySQL database management, specifically in replication.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies.
- Experience with monitoring tools and performance analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on MySQL and replication.
