About this role
The team is seeking a Senior ML Software Developer to join their ML Technology department. This team focuses on exploring, testing, and deploying machine-learning and automation solutions that enhance the technology and infrastructure supporting a global VFX and Feature Animation studio. The role involves tackling complex scaling and workflow challenges to enable thousands of artists to produce high-quality content across film, TV, and immersive experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms and models tailored for VFX and animation workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions.
- Optimize existing ML systems for performance and scalability.
- Conduct research to stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to projects.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in software development and ML.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud for deploying ML solutions.
- Experience with data processing and analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in machine learning and software development.
