About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff with expertise in Java and Angular to join their Sports Tooling team. This experienced and enthusiastic scrum team of 6 developers is responsible for creating innovative sports tooling solutions that enable content operators to efficiently enter and deliver sports data to global clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Teamsports Application, an Angular-based tool with a Java backend and MS SQL database.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement features that enhance user experience.
- Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain optimal performance of applications.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and Angular frameworks.
- Experience with MS SQL or similar relational databases.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in Java and Angular applications.
