The team is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering for their Product Catalog team. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team of engineers, program managers, architects, and product owners across the globe. Your primary focus will be to envision and deliver innovative solutions that enhance the accessibility of the team’s products and services to millions of consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to develop and implement software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Drive the architecture and design of scalable software systems that support product catalog functionalities.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering management, particularly in product catalog systems.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to the role (e.g., Java, Python, React).
- Excellent understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data management systems.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
