The team is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead and innovate within their software development teams. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality software solutions for the insurance industry, particularly for Property and Casualty (P/C) insurers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of core applications that enhance the customer experience and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications on the Guidewire Cloud platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of software solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in leading development teams.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
