About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead and manage a team of software developers responsible for creating, debugging, testing, deploying, and supporting code for various systems, products, and equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in the development of high-quality software solutions.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write, debug, maintain, and test software across various programming languages and levels, from Firmware to Application.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring successful completion of software projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software engineering and team leadership, with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages and software development tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
