The team is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead the Health & Wellness Engineering team. This team is dedicated to making healthcare more accessible, affordable, and convenient for millions of customers across the US. You will be instrumental in building the technology that powers various platforms including pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, and wellness services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Oversee the development and enhancement of systems that manage prescription workflows and patient-facing digital experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and improvements.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of systems that process millions of prescriptions annually.
- Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering and team leadership, with a strong understanding of healthcare technology.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
- Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
