About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Senior Managed File Transfer (MFT) Support Engineer to provide operational support and ensure the smooth functioning of MFT solutions. This role is critical in maintaining data transfer integrity and security across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for MFT solutions, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and manage file transfer processes to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize MFT solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to MFT processes and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions for junior engineers and team members on MFT best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Managed File Transfer technologies and protocols (e.g., SFTP, AS2, FTP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with file transfer applications like Axway, IBM Sterling, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in MFT support or a similar role.
