The team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mainframe Developer with extensive expertise in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM, and mainframe testing. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience in system testing, regression testing, and API testing, along with the ability to thrive in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and VSAM.
- Perform system testing (SIT), functional testing, and regression testing to ensure application quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications to enhance performance and reliability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and VSAM.
- Strong experience in system testing, regression testing, and API testing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in mainframe development and testing.
