About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Engineer to design and deliver mission-critical avionics software for commercial and military aircraft. This role requires a strong background in C++ programming and CI/CD practices, as well as the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain avionics software solutions using C++.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure software meets customer needs.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in C++ programming and software development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience with avionics systems or embedded software development is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, with a focus on C++ and CI/CD practices.
