About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer/Architect specializing in Security Layer 2/Layer 3 development. In this role, you will be responsible for designing complete firmware and software architecture for L2–L4 networking solutions, ensuring robust and secure networking capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop networking stack for embedded systems from scratch.
- Integrate L4–L7 protocols including OpenSSL, NAT, IPSEC, and MacSec.
- Develop NOS internals and fast-path processing frameworks.
- Lead platform validation using tools like IXIA.
- Facilitate trainer-led knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team skills.
- Ensure deep protocol-level implementation from L2 to L4 with regex processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing networking solutions.
- Strong knowledge of L2-L4 protocols and security mechanisms.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to firmware development.
- Experience with validation tools such as IXIA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in networking solutions development or related fields.
