The team is seeking a Senior Lead Data Engineer with a strong focus on DevOps to join their team in Bangalore, Karnataka. This role involves leading data engineering initiatives while integrating DevOps practices to enhance data workflows and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.
- Implement DevOps practices to automate data operations and improve deployment processes.
- Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in data engineering tools and languages such as Python, SQL, and Spark.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in data engineering and DevOps roles.
